Razer Blade Receives Upgrade, lower price

The newest Razer Blade is receiving an internal upgrade and a price drop.

The price is now set at $2,499, still a big drop for a gaming laptop but not as bad as it once was.

As far as internal schematics go, the Blade will now have a Core i7 CPU and GeForce GTX 660M, eight gigs of 1600 MHz DDR3 RAM, a 500-gig 7200 rpm hard drive and a 64-gig solid state drive. Everything else remains the same.

Razer also announced that the original Blades will be dropping price to $2,200, and original owners can get the new model with a $500 discount.

Still overpriced. Search for Lenovo IdeaPad Y580, better that this overpriced “gaming” laptop.
