The upcoming NBA season is only two months away and EA has been very quiet on the status of their reboot of the NBA LIVE franchise. EA has pretty much had no promotion for the game at all and until this announcement, I was worried my favorite simulation Basketball game was going to be canned again.

According to Gameranx, EA has confirmed that NBA LIVE 13 will be a download only release for Xbox Live Arcade, PSN, and PC and will not have a retail version. However, in an attempt to receive feedback from gamers the download release will have a price point of $19.99 or 1600 MS Points.
