Be On the lookout for Real Racing 3!
Mobile games have come a long way since the early 2000’s. The newer the model, the better the hardware and, of course, the nicer the visuals. Newest titles from various studios, like for instance Dead Trigger or N.O.V.A. 3, have shown that gaming on a mobile device can be a truly rich and enjoyable experience that – visually – is starting to compete with some of the console titles of today. Just look at the screenshot above…
If you’re into racing games and are looking for something to pass time on your way home from work, you better be on the lookout for Real Racing 3 – especially if you like playing titles that tend to be more realistic. Basically, if you’ve dreamt of having Gran Turismo with you on the go, this is it. Thanks to developers from Firemonkeys and EA, this dream will become a reality.
The third installment in the Real Racing series is set to feature all-new licensed tracks and a robust lineup of licensed cars from various manufacturers – be it Porsche, Dodge or Audi, aiming to deliver a rich and next-gen racing experience on mobile handsets. Players can also look forward to authentic circuits like the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Silverstone or Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. Add to that a 22 car grid and you have the perfect simulator that will keep you entertained for hours and hours.

Looks stunning, doesn’t it? Although there’s no release date yet, last we heard the game should be coming out later this year. As for the platforms, iOS and Android are our best guess. The more supported devices the better, but if I were you I’d check if your phone/tablet is up to date and prepare some free space – just to be sure. In the meantime you can get back to testing your driving skills in Real Racing 2 and stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to launch!

This was one of the stand-out mobile games at EA’s Summer Showcase. The visuals are incredible, but I ndon’t think the speaker on my iPad can handle the bass that they were pumping out during the presentation!!
