Logitech Reveals Its Newest UE Line of Audio Products

Logitech has revealed its newest line of Logitech UE products, that are aimed at bringing music and wireless audio from smartphones and tablets. The new offering includes earphones, headphones, wireless speakers, and a smart radio.

“Today’s fans have their music with them wherever they go – they carry it with them on their tablet or smartphone,” said Rory Dooley, Logitech senior vice president of music. “But no matter how or where you choose to store or access your favorite music, this lineup is the best way for you to experience it. Whether you want to be completely immersed in your favorite song, to share music with friends, or to discover new favorites, Logitech UE is the clear choice.”

The latest line includes:

Logitech UE Boombox ($249.99) – An on-the-go speaker that lets you connect via Bluetooth to a smartphone/tablet up to 50 feet away, with up to three devices connected at once. Features a six-hour rechargeable battery and eight custom-tuned drivers.

Logitech UE Mobile Boombox ($99.99) – A portable speaker that can connect with two devices, with a ten-hour rechargeable battery, a metal finish and an integrated speakerphone for making and receiving calls.

Logitech UE Smart Radio ($179.99) – A dedicated music device that can play Internet radio, online music services and the music on your PC or Mac. Can utilize an iOS and Android app to turn your smartphone into a controller, while the radio can save favorite playlists and stations.

Uses an earloop for comfortable wearing and includes detachable cables; one using a mic and controls, while the other one does not. Logitech says these earphones recreate original recording sound.

Features active noise-cancelling technology with memory foam cushions, articulating joints and what the company says is “rich, clear and perfectly tuned” audio.

Logitech UE 6000 Headphones ($199.99) – These wired headphones can fold up like glasses, provide a wide soundstage and cancel out unwanted noise. These headphones also have memory foam cushions, high detail audio and an around-the-ear design.

Logitech UE 4000 Headphones ($99.99) – The 4000 series are a more compact set of on-ear headphones that include a microfiber, zippered travel pouch. You’ll also find an inline mic and controls for answering calls, adjusting volume and changing tracks.

All of these products are expected to become available in September, with the Apple Store featuring them at their retail locations.
