Marvel’s characters have been getting a lot of sight time lately, and after the runaway success of “Marvel’s The Avengers,” it’s not surprising. Riding on the success of this popularity, Marvel has released teasers for its new mobile gaming programs, of which little specifics have been released.
Marvel posted two new trailers for the game on the Marvel XP Facebook page and on YouTube. The first trailer is called The Crisis, where a Samuel L. Jackson-looking Nick Fury delivers a rather non-Samuel L. Jackson sounding report about The Vault, a high-security prison for super-powered offenders, being broken into. In the second trailer, “The Team”, Fury talks with Hawkeye about the results of the Valut outbreak.
More information will be divulged about Marvel XP’s new game with time. Marvel XP is described on its Facebook page as “a free live service that connects you to the Marvel Gaming universe like never before.” With all the mobile games flying around and the popularity of the Avengers game on Facebook, they’ve got a high benchmark to step up to with this new game.
