The next piece of DLC for Skyrim will be available Sept. 4.

Titled Hearthfire, the content will let players build their own homes, complete with rooms that can be dedicated to specific jobs. In addition, players will be able to adopt children as well.

“From a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with armory, alchemy laboratory, and more,” Bethesda said of the DLC. “Choose your land, customize your house, guard it from unwanted visitors, and turn your house into a home by adopting children.”

The content will cost 400 Microsoft Points, and will start out by being an XBLA exclusive.
