Diamond Shipping GC1000 Capture Cards

Diamond Multimedia has announced today that they are shipping its latest game and video capture cards, the GC1000.

The cards let players capture gameplay from the 360, PS3 and Wii, and share clips on YouTube and Facebook in realtime while gaming. In addition, video can also be captured VHS, DVDs, camcorder or satellite as well.

“Diamond’s GC1000 gives users the ability to record and edit video in real-time, right out of the Xbox 360 or PS3 on a PC in 1080 HD, sharing top game-play sessions with friends,” notes Bruce Zaman, CEO of Diamond. “With Gamers and gaming as the core of our company, we know their pain points and we wanted to provide our key consumer with a solution that provides them with an easy way to broadcast and share their game-play without disrupting the experience with lags and delays.”

The GC1000 supports HDMI in and out, along with component, S-Video and composite. It will set you back $139.99. It’s available on Amazon, Tigerdirect, NewEgg, Microcenter and Fry’s Electronics.

In addition, there’s a lite version, the GC500, for $69.99.

The fact that the device has both hdmi and component, as well as old school composite, connects has me interested in the device.
