Vita Gets More Retro Love with Tomba, Arc the Lad PSOne Releases
The Vita is already falling by the wayside for many, but that’s not stopping some old-school games from getting second playthroughs with rereleases. MonkeyPaw Games, a big PSOne contributor, will be seeing 5 of their games make their way onto the PSOne Classics Vita lineup including Tomba and Arc the Lad 1 and 2.
According to an article posted by Joystiq, PSOne support will be added to the Vita via firmware update tomorrow, and along with that update will come support for 5 PSOne MonkeyPaw games. In addition to the ones listed above, Vanguard Bandits and Alundra will be be included as well.
What other PSOne games will be available with Sony’s firmware update? Only time will tell. Considering Final Fantasy VII received the PC-redux treatment, it would only make sense to me that it would show up as available for download tomorrow. What other games would you look to play from the PSOne on a Vita?
