Square Enix is gearing up for the 25th anniversary of the Final Fantasy franchise in a big way. They’ve announced that at their 25th Anniversary celebration they plan to give more information about Final Fantasy XIII Versus, but they’re also planning on telling more about the direction they’re taking XIII’s protagonist, Lightning. They’ve opened a Twitter account called the “Lightning Room” in anticipation of the big reveal.

@LRFF13 only has a couple tweets in it right now, and they’re in pure, unadulterated Japanese. Hopefully they’re interesting, but we non-Japanese reading folks might just have to sit back and wait for them to tell us what’s going on in English (or some other language that we understand).
