Ubisoft has today offered up a developer diary video related to ZombiU; the survival-horror game for the Nintendo Wii U.

In this video, Senior Producer, Guillaume Brunier, talks about the inspiration and mechanics for ZombiU and how they created unique experience using the Wii U gamepad.

    This game looks fantastic, It really shows that Nintendo is spending time to make the Wii U “Hardcore”

    I think Ubisoft is smart to be out in front on 3rd party Wii-U games. They might not sell a ton due to slow install rates at first, but they will set the standard for launch titles.

    Ubisoft’s MO is to support every console at launch. They had tons of stuff for the 3DS, the Kinect, and they had Origins for the Vita, and Assassin’s creed to follow. If the system catches on, they have a strong presence in the market and if the system flops they won’t lose too much. Smart move by Ubi.
