Sony Has 4 New Original Titles Coming
It looks like Sony’s got more than just Beyond and God of War 4 as exclusives to get people excited (I know they’ve got more than that, I just don’t much care about them). With four new PS-exclusive titles including a Playstation Move game, they’re continuing their trend of exclusivity to bolster their system.
According to That Videogame Blog, SCEE (Sony Europe) announced four new titles, one of the largest being a Playstation Move horror title called Until Dawn. Players will utilize the Playstation Move equipment while navigating horrors and trying to escape death.
Other titles include Tearaway, Puppeteer, and Rain. The first title is made by LittleBig Planet‘s Media Molecule team, and is a Vita-exclusive where you’ll manipulate a world made of paper. Puppeteer places you in control of a puppet named Kutaro whose adventure will take place on a puppet stage, with the world zooming by him as he stays on stage. Rain is a platform-puzzler where your character is invisible unless water is falling on him.
Each of the games seem very different, and signal Sony’s desire to work with games that are outside the “Call of Battlefield” framework that’s very popular these days. I’m glad to see it, and I hope to see more original titles coming down the pipes in the future.
