Valve has released a new update for Portal 2 for PC and Mac that enables the game’s puzzle maker to create co-op levels.
Gamers have been creating over 170,000 single-player levels using Steam Workshop since the game’s editor was released in May 2012, so the ability to make co-op levels should certainly ignite a ton of development of new content.
The update will also add a Quick Play feature that allows players to get access to the top-rated maps, using a variety of categories. In addition, Valve is giving every current owner of the game a 75% coupon, good towards a copy of Portal 2. That should obviously help gamers find plenty of co-op partners.
