In a partnership between SNK Playmore and Tommo, Inc., gamers will get a taste of nostalgia this December with the release of NEOGEO X GOLD; a combination home arcade console and handheld device.

Basically what you’re getting is a NEOGEO X Station, along with an arcade joystick, as well as the handheld that comes pre-loaded with 20 classic titles.  The handheld has a 4.3″ LCD with an expandable game card slot, stereo speakers and a headphone jack.  The NEOGEO X Handheld will be compatible with the NEOGEO X Joystick and can be charged using the console itself, which will have standard A/V outs as well as HDMI.

The entire system will be available for $199.99 and be sold in North America, Asia and Europe.
