It was announced on Friday that the leader in online gaming, Blizzard Entertainment, has been hacked again. Once the leader in secure online game play, Blizzard is now coming under constant attack from hackers trying to prove their mettle. Blizzard President Michael Morhaimehas stated that it does not appear that any credit cards or personal finance information has been comprised. At the moment, Blizzard is saying that the only things compromised have been e-mails and passwords and is recommending that users change their passwords to prevent any further possible interference. With Blizzard suffering a loss in subscribers leading in to it’s new expansion, Mists of Panderia, and the popularity of Diablo III, Blizzard cannot afford the bad publicity of not being able to protect the nearly 8 million users information.
