New Dragon’s Dogma Demo Coming to PSN

Capcom announced this morning that a brand new Dragon’s Dogma demo is coming exclusively to the PlayStation Network next week.

This new demo will feature the game’s Prologue and include access to game’s character customization screen, before heading out to meet Hydra in a massive battle.  As with the original demo, players can take their saved character and data, and port it over to the full game.

The demo will be available from August 15th in Europe and on the North American PlayStation Store on August 21st.  Also, Capcom is today putting on a new competition that is being held at the Pawn Community website, The Gran Soren Times.  Players will be able to submit in-game screenshots taken using the photo sharing feature in Dragon’s Dogma into three different categories: The Fairest Maidens, The Most Dashing Gentlemen, and The Most Unique Myrmidons. Winning entries will receive exclusive avatars for PSN or Xbox Live and 18 grand prize winners – six each from Europe, North America and Japan – will have their pawns showcased in the “Special Pawn” area of the Rift.

Lastly, the game will also get a new title update which adds “Easy Mode” to the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the full game.
