Space-based third-person shooter WARFRAME is coming along in its development, and Digital Extremes has released the first gameplay trailer for the free-to-play game.

The trailer starts off with some meditative CGI, but then transitions into rather gorgeous-looking gameplay. Players wield futuristic guns and katana-style blades as they shoot and slash their ways through hordes of aliens. Pretty sweet.

WARFRAME allows PvE co-op, with a 4-player squad taking on a wretched hive of scum and villainy. Those you who want to teach those scum-suckers a lesson can sign up for the closed beta at www.playwarframe.com
