The smash-hit (no pun intended) physics-based puzzler Angry Birds has been updated to version 2.2.0, throwing in new levels, Retina display support, and new power-ups. Though there are many versions out there, the original was the one to get the refurb treatment, allowing players access to 15 new levels.
In an article posted by iOSVlog, details about the new update say that the piggies have gone on vacation, but it’ll be up to those Angry Birds to come in and show them a good time. By accessing the game daily, players gain the ability to use new power-ups like the King Sling, Super Seeds, and Sling Scope.
Angry Birds is available on the App Store and Google Play for $0.99, while Angry Birds HD is available for iPad on the App Store for $2.99.
