Viral Website Shows that Grand Theft Auto V is Alive, Kicking, and Enlightened
Since debuting with a vague trailer, little more than a handful of screenshots have been released to prove the continued existence of Grand Theft Auto V. Obviously the game is alive, but little has been shown to further that notion. Today, for the first time in months, Rockstar unleashed a sampling of data that could well ease the concerns of those that believe, due to a lack of correspondence citing otherwise, the game to be more than a ways off.
The viral website uploaded by Rockstar sheds an early light on just one of the victims of Grand Theft Auto’s biting satire: Scientology. KIFFLOM, as it is called, appears to be a religion largely based on the relative youth of our planet, the existence of aliens, and constant donations made in order to fully attain salvation; subtlety may not be their strong suit, but humor clearly is.
Grand Theft Auto V has no official release date and has not been confirmed for any particular platforms though recent speculation points to a fall launch for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
