FIFA 13 for Wii U Detailed

The Official Nintendo Magazine has revealed some new information regarding FIFA ’13 for the Nintendo Wii U.  More specifically, there is some new info regarding the use of the Wii U’s Gamepad.

For starters, gamers will be able to switch between defenders by simply tapping on that player, while tapping on the attacker will allow you to either mark or tackle him.  The preview also states that on offense, you can use the touchscreen to pass, either straight up or by creating plays.  Speaking of being on offense, gamers will be able to do precision goal kicks with the Gamepad.  If you press L3 or do a quick shake of the Gamepad, an image of the goal will show up on screen, which asks you to pin point where you want to kick.

In another feature, which makes perfect sense, players will be able to open up a Manager Hub on the Gamepad to make all sorts of managerial decisions without having to leave the game.

More details are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks.
