Symbiote Studios Obtains Rights to Produce Vinyl Figures of Popular Bethesda Characters

Once a video game is completed it, for all intents and purposes, is done. The characters met and the paths traveled all but disappear into the furthest reaches of the mind never to be thought of again. It doesn’t have to be this way, though; desks have long been a place for the medium’s most legendary characters to be immortalized in the form of figures and replicas, a tradition that looks to be further carried on for many popular titles as Symbiote Studios has obtained the rights to produce vinyl figures based on the many properties of Bethesda Softworks.

Bethesda Softworks is best known for its The Elder Scrolls franchise but also holds the rights to such classics as Fallout, DOOM, Quake, and this year’s new title, Dishonored. Attendees at the upcoming QuakeCon 2012 who ordered a Swag Pack will receive the first product of this new relationship, a figure exclusive to the event. Later this month, Symbiote’s first figure available to the general public, one based around the Dragonborn made famous in The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, will launch on the company’s official website.
