When making a game based around current entries in the James Bond movie franchise, casting is a fairly simple procedure; it begins and ends with Daniel Craig, the actor that now dons the suit and tie of the legendary spy. 007 Legends, a retrospective title which ties together the past several decades of cinematic lore, complicates matters. Daniel Craig reprises the lead role, of course, but within the experience must be other, smaller characters familiar to longtime fans and played by stars most closely resembling the original talent.
Returning in 007 Legends are Rory Kinnear (Bill Tanner, Skyfall), Michael Lonsdale (Hugo Drax, Moonraker), Richard Kiel (Jaws, Moonraker), and Naomie Harris (Skyfall). These celebrities will be joined by Bond game and movie writer Bruce Feirstein (The World Is Not Enough, Tomorrow Never Dies, GoldenEye) as well as David Arnold (Die Another Day, Tomorrow Never Dies, Independence Day) and Kevin Kiner (Hell on Wheels, Star Wars: The Clone Wars, CSI: Miami) as the title’s composer.
007 Legends will be available for PC, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360 when it launches on October 16.
