Roster editing is a huge thing in every simulation sports community but nowhere is it more important than in NCAA Football 13. Personally, I made the jump this year to using NCAA´s roster share feature because it does get annoying to see the players being named CB 7 or HB 4. Also because of legal issues EA cannot use the real names of the players so EA cannot do official roster updates for the teams, as they do in the pro sports games. According to Kotaku, Operation Sports states they have complete rosters including dreadlocked players. This is a big deal to NCAA sports gamers.
Operation Sports have complete rosters on both the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of NCAA Football 13. Its editors promise correct player names, numbers, heights, weights, skin tone, year in school, and redshirt status. Transfers into the program have been added; players kicked off the teams have been removed. Correct coach names and other information are also included.
For those who may have never used roster share, the roster share option is found in the “Team Management” portion of the game´s main menu. Go all the way to the right and select Roster Share and then select Download Roster. Then you will be allowed to manually type a PSN ID or Gamertag. The best thing is you do not have to send these users a friend request to obtain the downloaded rosters. Once the rosters finish downloading, the game gives you an option to save them to your hard drive so that all you have to do is load them manually under the “Files” option in the menu.
