Speaking at Develop last week in Brighton, Wedbush Securities Michael Pachter commented on the Wii U Pro Controller, which he believes was created in order to get a Call of Duty game on the console.
According to Edge Online, Pachter said,”Activision never said anything to me, but I know that [for] big games like Call Of Duty they said, ‘No, we’re not putting it on there if you don’t give us a conventional controller’. So they gave in.”
Nintendo introduced the controller during a webcast on the Sunday of E3 week back in June, showing off its more traditional controller that closely resembles an Xbox 360 controller; which is a good thing.
Additionally, Treyarch had recently told GamesIndustry International that the Pro Controller would be good for FPS games, which they were happy about.
