Comic-Con Awesomeness: Sonic Screwdriver Universal Remote

by on July 13, 2012

ThinkGeek is so rad, only they would come up with this. This is a replica of the Mark VII Sonic Screwdriver used by the 11th Doctor, Matt Smith. It uses 13 gestures and 3 memory banks to store up to 39 remote control codes, plenty to control all of your Earth-based entertainment equipment. Here is the video they put together to sell you on it incase you hadn’t already decided this was too awesome not to have.

If you’re attending Comic-Con you can see this right now at BBC America Booth #3629. This will be available to the rest of us in September just in time for the new season! Heres some more cool pictures from the manual it comes with to hold you over until it arrives.
