Cthulhu Saves Your iPhone!

says: TUAW

JDL: I love Zeboyd Games!

Chris: Me too! They’ve got some impressive games on Xbox Live Indie Arcade for very cheap. If you love retro RPGs, you’ll love Zeboyd. And if you love Zeboyd, or you happen to need some more old school JRPGs in your life, you can get Zeboyd to go on your iPhone for just $1.99. As the title implies, the game involves Cthulhu, who isn’t as all powerful as he used to be, thanks to a dirty, cheating, interfering white mage. In order to get Cthulhu’s powers back, the player must guide him in doing good deeds and ultimately saving the world.

JDL: CSTW seems to mostly be the same game on the iPhone that it was on the Xbox, but the controls involve swiping the screen to move, which can flat out suck.

Chris: At $1.99 for comedic dialogue and great gameplay, you can’t go wrong. Give it a try, you won’t be upset with yourself for this purchase! And if you want more from Zeboyd, go check out the new Penny Arcade Adventures game on Xbox Live Indie Games!

Cold Stream DLC Coming In Hot!

says: Cinema Blend

JDL: Valve’s been play-testing the Cold Stream DLC for Left 4 Dead 2 and they plan to release Cold Stream through Xbox Live on July 24th along with “No Mercy,” “Blood Harvest,” “Crash Course,” and “Dead Air,” campaigns from the original L4D. Cold Stream has been available on PC and Mac since March 2011 and many bugs have been detected and corrected since then. On top of the extra campaigns, gamers can add Mutations to their campaigns freely. You can create or join matches with Taannkk!, Gib Fest, and other mutations.

Chris: No word on pricing yet for this lovely batch of DLC.
