Nuketown, one of the most enjoyable maps from Call of Duty: Black Ops, will be making its return to Black Ops 2.

The map, which will be redesigned and dubbed ‘Nuketown 2025‘ will feature a futuristic makeover and will be offered as a pre-order bonus for gamers.

Gamers seemed to thoroughly enjoy the original map, with extremely close-quarter combat that left you open to a short life, regardless of where you spawned.  Nevertheless, despite its tense and at some times, stressful action, the map became a fan favorite.

Currently on the homepage of CallofDuty.com, Activision describes Nuketown 2025 as: “…re-imagined in a 60’s depiction of the “Model Home of the Future”, Nuketown 2025 is set to take that familiar close-quarters chaos into the future! Treyarch Small and simple, yet lending itself to a variety of playstyles, the original Nuketown became an instant fan-favorite in Call of Duty: Black Ops.”
