Relive the Horror with Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection on PSN Today
Forget what you know about Resident Evil; it’s all out the window today as Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection, a light-gun inspired take on the franchise’s earlier entries, has been released on the PlayStation Network.
Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection is a compilation that includes both Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles, two titles originally released on the Nintendo Wii that have now been supplemented with PlayStation Move support and high-definition visuals. As a combined entity, Chronicles HD Collection takes players through a wide swath of the diverse Resident Evil landscape: 1, 2, 3, Code: Veronica, and Zero. In doing so, the game provides a more accessible means by which players familiar with the more recent additions to the series can experience its oldest entries.
Resident Evil: Chronicles HD Collection is available now on the PlayStation Network for $26.99. On July 17, the individual games contained within the bundle will be sold separately on the service for $14.99 apiece.
