Summer of Arcade Is Here Again!

Xbox’s Summer of Arcade is coming up quick! Let’s see what’s on tap this summer and what rebates gamers will be entitled to!

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD will be released on July 18th, featuring levels from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1 and 2 —

Fingers crossed for Marsielles!

Fingers crossed for Create-A-Skater! Developers have said that other games in the franchise could, keyword: could be getting the HD treatment later on. Pro Skater HD will set gamers back 1200 MS Points.

A week later on July 25th Wreckateer releases and is reminscient of that classic game Angry Birds.

Three years ago doesn’t make something classic, Chris.

Wreckateer will be the cheapest Summer of Arcade game coming in at 800 MS Points.

Deadlight, a beautiful 2D action adventure title that plays with shadows, will be next on August 1st. It is said to have a heavy focus on story and will go for 1200 MS Points.

August 8th is the release of Hybrid, a third-person multiplayer sci-fi shooter from —

5th Cell? The Scribblenauts guys?!

Wow, didn’t see that coming. Anyhow, Hybrid will go for 1200 MS Points.

Last but not least, there’s Dust: An Elysian Tail is an action-RPG created by one person.

With the exception of Pro Skater, you can only get these games on the Xbox 360, and why wouldn’t you want to get a few? After all, if you buy any three of the aforementioned games during the Summer of Arcade, you’ll get 400 MS Points back.

    I’m actually pretty stoked for Hybrid and Tony Hawk Pro Skater HD. Played quite a bit of Hybrid at a preview event and at E3 and it’s pretty fun.
