Today’s PlayStation Blog update has revealed that WipEout 2048 has received not one, but two expansion packs.

WipEout HD and WipEout HD Fury, available on the PS3, have been reimagined for WipEout 2048 on the PS Vita and have both been released as downloadable packs.

The  “WipEout 2048 WipEout HD Add-On Pack”, which is available for $7.99, includes the full single-player WipEout HD campaign mod and all of the WipEout HD online multiplayer tracks.  As an added bonus, players will get access to an additional 12 crossplay tracks outside of the original four tracks included in WipEout 2048 for simultaneous multiplayer action on the PS3 and PS Vita.

As for the “WipEout 2048 WipEout HD Fury Add-On Pack” ($7.99), the DLC includes the full single-player WipEout HD Fury campaign mode with all 12 tracks (including four reverse tracks and four Zone Mode tracks), 24 ships to choose from, and a Zone Mode Ship. The HD Fury Add-On pack also gives players access to another 12 crossplay tracks.

PS Vita owners can also pick up both DLC packs as a bundle for $12.99.
