Xbox Fever (June 18)

JDL: We missed a day. Sorry about that.

Chris: What a jerk.

JDL: Cut me some slack, it was Father’s Day after all.

Today’s The Big Day!

says: USA Today

Chris: So that Microsoft related announcement that’s taking place today?

JDL: Yeah? What about it?

Chris: Well, I’m just making predictions here, but what if the announcement is about a new controller? A 7-inch tablet controller that’ll come along with a

stationary Xbox? And what if it’s called the Microsoft Surface?

JDL: I’d say that’s a little too specific to be a guess. I’d also say you’re wrong. Microsoft’s Surface tablet will have a 10.6-inch HD widescreen display, USB and micro SD card support and a built-in keyboard with trackpad.

Chris: Dizzamn, that’s hot!

JDL: Cool it with the ebonics. Back in 2001, the big man Bill Gates predicted that tablets would be the most popular form of PCs sold in America within five years. Still hasn’t happened yet, but between Surface and the iPad, maybe that prediction will come true and not be something read off of a gossip site.

LOL; short and to the point, eh?

I find it interesting that Microsoft won’t divulge what the screen’s resolution is.
