Silicon Knights Cutting Back Staff After Lawsuit
Silicon Knights is losing more than just money to Epic Games after its countersuit.
The company reportedly had to lay off “a small number of people,” according to Games Industry, after paying Epic Games $4.5 million.
The head of the studio Denis Dyack said the company is still in operation, though.
“Silicon Knights has unfortunately had to lay off a small number of people. We are scaling back to a core group and focusing all our efforts on future opportunities,” he said.
