Fertang Now Available on App Stores
A recently released mobile app is trying to combine two of the most classic board games out there.
Fertang, available now on the App Store for iTunes, Google Play for Android, Amazon for Kindle Fire and BarnesandNoble.com for Nook Color, combines both chess and checkers. The game is reportedly easy to learn, with only three types of pieces (square, triangle and circle) available to be used).
Each piece starts out only being able to move one space in a set direction, but can move more spaces by capturing more pieces. In addition, a “super tactical” square lets players move their own piece any amount of spaces in an allowed direction.
A board game version is set to come out later this year.
The game costs $1.99, but Android is running a promo to get the game for only $.99.
