E3 2012: Microsoft Unveils Next Twisted Pixel Game, Lococycle
With a library that includes such titles as The Maw and Splosion Man, Twisted Pixel is no stranger to new, unique intellectual properties. Nearly a year has passed since their last title so a new release seemed imminent, a fact that was further affirmed this morning when Microsoft debuted Lococycle at their annual E3 press conference.
In the trailer, little is made clear outside of the fact that the game’s protagonist, I.R.I.S., is a being that far exceeds the capabilities of a regular human being. Her record includes two degrees from the Big Arms Academy’s School of Assassination, fluency in multiple languages and styles of martial arts, and an unmatched sense of speed that saw her run the mile in 20 seconds.
Needless to say, Twisted Pixel’s next game will follow in the footsteps of its predecessors as one that defies all notions of reality. More details regarding Lococycle will emerge at the upcoming PAX Prime in Seattle, Washington.
