GameStop Opens Expo to Public

GameStop has announced that they are holding its first-ever GameStop Consumer “EXPO” Aug. 29 in San Antonio.

The event used to be open to only GameStop employees, and was also where the annual manager meeting took place. Now, anyone that has a PowerUp Rewards card and $35 can get a ticket to the event at the official site. However, if you have enough reward points, you can get a ticket for free.

In addition, a $100 VIP pass is available to give ticket-holders “four in-depth sessions with some of the biggest names in gaming, access to VIP-only lines and entrance to the VIP gaming lounge.”

Just a heads-up, though, the event is two days before PAX Prime starts in Seattle.
