Game Capture HD Coming Soon!
Slow-mo, replay and all the trimmings: Engadget
For the most vain of gamers, Elgato is proud to announce their all new Game Capture HD, a tiny device that lets gamers and YouTube uploaders record HD video of their greatest hits and misses without having to bust out their smart phones.
Xbox 360 gamers can hook the Game Capture HD into their TVs via an HDMI cable, while PS3 gamers will have to rely on a specialty bundled AV cable to bypass Sony’s copy protection. From there, footage gets compressed and added to your PC or Mac for smooth uploading. Expect to be able to buy the Game Capture HD next month, or this June. It’ll be a little pricy, coming in hot at $200, but it’s worth it if you love showing Grandma how you Focus Attack Dash Cancel your Ruffian Kicks into Ultra 1.
Devil May Cry Reboots Gamers In The Ass
177 Hit Combo!: Zo Knows Gaming
Everyone’s favorite gaming company, Capcom has revealed the release date for the Devil May Cry reboot. Devil May Cry, stylized as DmC will available for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360 on January 15th, with a PC version expected to follow later in the year. This comes as a peculiar move, considering that most gamers are broke in the wake of Christmas, however, Resident Evil 4 was released in the beginning of the year and it was highly successful.
In their press release, Capcom mentions a new female character by the name of ”Kat,” a softer-than-most-girls psychic who can see into the demon realm.
Microsoft Issues Refunds For…. Minecraft?!
Look under your seat, it’s a refund:Game Zone
Gamers who do not own an HD TV have been unable to play Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition’s split-screen mode, which is actually Microsoft’s fault, since they forgot to list an HD TV as a specific requirement product page to get the compelte Minecraft experience. Fortunately, Microsoft has already come to the rescue with a statement that says they’re issuing refunds to gamers who purchased the game before the publisher corrected the listing.
“We [then] updated our pre-sale notification to inform customers that an HD screen is required for the split-screen multiplayer feature on Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition. If a player does not have an HD screen and purchased this game prior to the notification update, they are eligible for a full refund through customer support,” a Microsoft spokesperson said in a statement.

That Game Capture HD looks good…I’m currently reviewing the Hauppauge HD PVR, but it only supports component input.
