Activision/Bungie Contract Revealed
Activision’s court battle with Jason West and Vince Zampella has caused the contract Activision made with Bungie to become public.
The LA Times posted the contract, which states that Bungie will make four “sci-fantasy, action shooter games” for a project code-named “Destiny.” The first game will be exclusive to the Xbox in the fall of 2013, with other systems getting the game a year later.
The next entries would come to 360, PS3 and PC in 2015, 2017 and 2019, while four expansions, code named “Comet,” would fall in the years in between.
Finally, the contract adds that Bungie can put 5 percent of its staff to work on “Marathon.”
