Battle.net Concerned With Diablo 3 Account Hacking

Account hacking is nothing new with PC games, so no one should be surprised when reports have come out that Battle.net has begun sending out emails suggesting players change their passwords because someone attempted to hack into them.

However, because it is for Diablo III accounts, people should really take heed to the suggestion to protect their accounts. Seriously, nothing sucks more than logging hundreds of hours only to have to redo it all over again thanks to an overzealous prick.

Anyone interested in picking up an authenticator or a Battle.net Mobile authenticator app straight from Blizzard click here: Battle.net account management page Then click the “How to Protect Your Account” Link

You could easily download the official blizzard authenticator app from the itunes store and the android marketplace or buy the keychain which I totally recommend for easy access…especially when your phone is dead. (it’s happened to me before)
