Microsoft has today announced that it is reinstating its past offer to students that earns them a 4GB Xbox 360 with the purchase of a qualifying Windows 7-based PC.

The offer will begin on May 20 and be available to current students at participating retailers in the U.S. (it is already available in Canada)

Students will of course have to show a valid student ID upon purchase and can do so at retailers such as Best Buy, Fry’s, Dell.com, HPDirect.com, Microsoft Stores, NewEgg.com and in Canada, includes Dell.ca, Future Shop, Staples and The Source.

The offer will stand while supplies last.
