Anime is kind of a big thing these days, and few anime are bigger in the western hemisphere than One Piece, a stirring ballad covering the life of Monkey D. Luffy as he attempts to track down the treasure of Gold Rodger. One Piece: Pirate Warriors, a title paying homage to the series coming soon to the PlayStation Network, puts players in the shoes and elongated appendages of Luffy, Nami, Usopp, and more as they confront a series of daunting obstacles similar to those seen in the Dynasty Warriors franchise of games. Today, Namco Bandai let loose several new screenshots further setting the scene for this hectic, high-seas brawler.

The latest batch of pictures for One Piece: Pirate Warriors shows the cast and crew of the anime doing what they do best: wreaking havoc on their enemies. Luffy’s use of his rubber-like nature shows itself in various forms throughout the collection as do the talents and abilities of those that he has chosen to surround himself with on the quest for Gold Rodger’s treasure.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors will be available later this year exclusively on the PlayStation Network.
