Pikmin 2 and Mario Power Tennis Coming to the Wii

Nintendo has today announced plans to re-release two solid Gamecube titles in the form of their Nintendo Selects line (previously known as New Play Control), with the Wii debut of Pikmin 2 and Mario Power Tennis.

Both games can be played using the Wii remote and nunchuck, adding new dimension to the gameplay, and both titles will be priced at $19.99.

The company also announced price drops for Super Smash Bros. Brawl and Donkey Kong Country  Returns, as the two Wii titles will now retail for $29.99.

Pikmin (the original) was already released on the Wii with the same functionality, with Pikmin 2 arguably being an improved experience – translation, get it!

I’ve always wanted to check the Pikmin games out, but haven’t had an interest in my Wii in a while. With Xenoblade finally getting me back to play it, maybe I’ll check these out.

Yeah I’m about to start Xenoblade as well.

    Still playing Xenoblade….love it.
