That is correct it appears that the free to play Mercenary Ops is accepting closed beta apps, and the way to do it is simple, just like their facebook page. Beta testers will be  able to play the competitive online multiplayer matches as well as the  cooperative team missions. It is however like it says an application process so that means not all who apply will get in. The first group of beta testers will be in on June 20th so be patient and cross your fingers, I have played the game and I can tell you it is pretty sweet, and I for one will definitely be applying!
