Coco Joins Forces with Ubisoft, Team Ghost to Promote Ghost Recon: Future Soldier
The old adage indicates that you learn something new every day; today, that old adage came to pass as I obtained knowledge that had previously eluded my grasp; Coco is not, as it turns out, the raw material that goes into making chocolate but is instead the name used in reference to a reality television star and, now, a promoter of Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier. She will be joining the ranks of Kevin Love, an NBA All-Star currently playing for the Minnesota Timberwolves, and Justin Blackmon, a recently drafted rookie in the NFL that will be spending his first years as a member of the Jacksonville Jaguars, on Team Ghost.
Team Ghost is, as the name implies in its reference to the most highly-trained soldiers on Future Soldier’s numerous battlefields, a collection of celebrities that are among the best at what they do. Coco not only excels as a reality star on the show Ice Loves Coco but also performs exceptionally well in her role as the team’s gun expert.
I’m the beauty and the brains of Team Ghost…I actually shot my first gun when I was a 9-year-old and I visit the shooting range with my husband every so often, so I’m pretty handy with a weapon. I’m the gun expert on Team Ghost, so my role is to make sure that everyone customizes their gun so they’re properly equipped for the mission at hand.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, sans Coco, will launch for both the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on May 22 followed closely by the title’s release date on PC of June 12
