Microsoft Patents Pressure-Sensitive Controller

Microsoft recently filed a patent for a new controller.

However, the controller will allow for “personalization using a hand-pressure signature.” Basically, this means any controller with this pressure-sensative device on it would be able to tell who’s using it and possibly change to a custom control scheme if different from the default.

In addition, the controller could also display information related to the person controlling it.

The controller would need internal memory and a processing unit to make it operational.
