Bioshock Infinite Possibly to Get Multiplayer

Many suggestions have been made as to why Bioshock Infinite was delayed until 2013, but a job listing may suggest the highly anticipated game may be getting multiplayer.

According to That VideoGame Blog, the studio is looking for a network programmer with previous experience in developing network support for analysis, matchmaking, in-game updates and more.

The job listing dictates that they are looking for a “talented and experienced individual to help us with the networking aspects of Bioshock Infinite” This does not indicate proof of the delay but the timing of this post may be one of the reasons the delay could have happened.

Bioshock Infinite will not be at E3 or at Gamescom, so it may well be a while before the multiplayer gets formalized.

Hmm I’m torn about this. I liked the multiplayer on BioShock 2, but really hope that’s not what Infinite has in mind if this is true. Honestly, I think the game’s better suited for co-op then competitive if they want to plan anything.

Yeah I hope they don’t force it on us like we saw EA do with Dead Space 2 (which while was good, was unnecessary).

    …WHY?
