Bioshock Movie is Not Dead Yet
Ken Levine, Irrational’s creative director, told Edge magazine when asked if the rumored film based on the immensely popular Bioshock games was “dead” that although “The thing with Gore [Verbinski] didn’t work out, but there’s no such thing as ‘it’s finished’ when it comes to making a movie out of something.”
Levine emphasized that while they are still hoping to make the film, the main concern and focus is on Bioshock: Infinite which is scheduled for an October 16th release on the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3.
