Awesomenauts Out Today on Xbox Live & PSN

The game that was in limbo as of a few days ago is still around. Dtp Entertainment, the makers of TNT Racers and Crazy Machine Elements, recently had to file for insolvency and there were many who thought the game may not see the light of day. However, Dtp Entertainment and Romino games announced today that Awesomenauts indeed lives and is out right now.

Awesomenauts has a mixture of platforming and online multiplayer battling. Players have a choice between six characters and join three other players online or split-screen locally to duke it out and defend the enemy base against other enemies and players.

“We’ve been looking forward to this day for three years,” said Jasper Koning, Game Designer at Ronimo Games, “The day that we can finally head online and play our game against other players instead of bots! I’ll see you on the battlefield!”

Awesomenauts is available on the Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network for $9.99 or 800MS points.

Played this at PAX. It’s easily my favorite MOBA title almost entirely because of the fact that I wasn’t completely terrible at it. The style was nice, too.
