Konami has finally revealed the launch month for Metal Gear Solid HD Collection for the PlayStation Vita.
The collection will arrive in June, and feature Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of LIberty and Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater – both upgraded with HD graphics and the ability to transfer save data, which allows gamers to transfer their saved data from the PS3 version onto the PS Vita and continue where they left off.
The PS Vita version of Metal Gear Solid HD Collection also features touch-screen and rear pad controls for zooming in, looking around corners, interrogations and more.

Honestly, this game lost me when it dropped support for Peace Walker. How does it make any sense that the one game cut out of the portable version of the game is the one that was originally on a handheld platform? If there was ever a game to prove the vast improvement of having two analog sticks as opposed to the one that the PSP had, this was it.
They’re most likely going to be saving Peace Walker and combining it with Portable Ops for another HD collection. That, I’ll buy a PS Vita for.
