007 Legends Giving Players the Chance to “Get in the Game”

The list of villains featured in the James Bond series of films is as long as it is revered; even in this day and age, it is nearly impossible to find an individual that has never heard of the likes of Goldfinger and Dr. No. It is because of this that Activision’s latest promotion for 007 Legends, an initiative entitled “Get in the Game”, carries with it so much weight and prominence.

“Get in the Game” allows players to do exactly what the name indicates: become a part of this fall’s 007 Legends, a retrospective title being released for Playstation 3 and Xbox 360. To enter, one must simply concoct a unique idea for a new Bond villain, upload a photo and description of them to the 007 Legends website, and then wait for May 24 when the ten finalists are announced. The community will determine which submission has the most nefarious potential between the May 25 and June 6 voting window that Activision has allotted for the competition.

Activision is careful to note that players can either choose to digitally alter a photo of themselves or simply dress up as their ideal villain. As such, I will be uploading a picture of myself wearing nothing but underwear. There’s no way I can lose after unleashing that level of evil upon the world.
