Best Buy, Canadian Retailer Peg Bethesda’s Dishonored for September Release
Bethesda Softworks, the publisher responsible for Dishonored, knows when the game will be arriving on store shelves in North America. Outside of them and developer Arkane Studios, though, nobody has a clue as to when they might be able to finally get their hands on the science-fiction shooter. That is, unless you count Best Buy and Canadian retailer FutureShop. These two retailers have, according to That VideoGame Blog, outed Dishonored’s release date as taking place on September 25, 2012.
Bethesda has yet to confirm this release date as being official; it could very well just be a rumor or a planned means of increasing preorders by these particular retailers, but, for now, this will have to do as the only news on the matter. The one matter that is official at this point is that Dishonored will launch later this year for the PC, Playstation 3, and Xbox 360.
Comments:
It’s funny how these release dates get “leaked’. I think a lot of them are intentional.
I’m willing to be you’re right on that Andrew. Sometimes getting something “leaked” results in added promotion and hype.
