Super Smash Bros May Focus on Linking 3DS and Wii U versions Together
There is no doubt that the name “Super Smash Bros” evokes some powerful emotions from gamers. So, it is no surprise talk has already begun about how to improve Smash Bros in the future.
Mashahiro Sakurai, a member of the development team for the game, says they have to do more than add new characters, items, and stages.
Sakurai says a way to improve the series would be adding dual support for 3DS and Wii U.
At E3 2011, Nintendo’s global president Satoru Iwata also supported the idea of using the 3DS and Wii U link as a focus of the new Super Smash Bros.
Who knows, this is all early speculation. However, as long as players do not need both systems to play with friends locally, they probably will not cause a negative ruckus with this decision, if it holds.
